1966 Land Rover Series 2A 2286 petrol project rolling chassis for completion

  

This 1966 Land Rover Series 2a SWB petrol 2286 was manufactured in 1966, but not registered until 1975 as ex MOD. There are only three previous keepers before me. The car has never been written off and on original plates.

The car has been stripped done and the rebuild started. This will make a really good car when completed, heavy work done.

The chassis rolls freely , with the running gear engine and box in situ. The engine turns over freely. The majority of the parts needed for completion are present.

The chassis is in good order, needs the dumb irons need some work. The bulkhead will need repair but is salvageable. Catflap rear door, original hard top and sides, with sliding glass. The front end us temporarily assembled in some of the pictures.
