1969 Land Rover Series 2a S2a SIIa 88 SWB 2.25 Petrol Classic 4x4 Cab Pick Up

  
Classic Land Rover Series 2A 4x4 in original specification 2.25L Petrol with overdrive, free-wheeling hubs, tow bar and towing electrics (though I don't tow with it). I first bought this Land Rover in August 2011, keeping it as a run-around until January 2013. It is the ideal Series 2A spec - so has the metal grill rather than the later S3 plastic version and full metal dash, non-padded. A Couple of Videos here >. Although it has clearly been restored at some point, it is not recent, though there are no concerns about the condition of the chassis as it was well protected. Reliable, no issues, the 4x4 works as does the overdrive, which makes. Normal road use much easier. I generally only use the car at weekends or for short journeys, with the roof off during the summer and cab-on in the winter (Cab is currently on). The heater works well (2 speed) as do all of the electrics. Top quality Highback seats are fitted, along with 3 seat belts. The fuel gauge does not go to the top even when the tank is full. But otherwise there is little to fault it on. I have a full DVLA print-out, showing all of the previous owners, back to a copy.
