1979 land rover, lightweight/ air portable, series 3

  

1979 Land Rover light weight air portable series 3. Bought as a restoration project last year but sadly realising I won't have the time to get stuck into it.

Ex military vehicle with history on the m. Database however I haven't applied for the history as of yet nor the heritage certificate. Overall a largly complete vehicle that starts , runs, drives and stops quite well all fixtures and electrics are in working order witch is surprising for a vehicle that had sat around for about 5 years before I aquired it. The body has some areas of corossion but nothing serious and and that is not easly rectifiable. Has parabolic springs fitted at some in the past and still retains its military Axel's from what I can see with the white diff paint and convoy light underneath. Has being fitted with an l. Conversion at some point in the past , witch I haven't attempted to use as of yet , but the shut off solenoid and switches are still functioning so should work fine not shown but included is a 5th wheel and tyre for the bonnet to match the rest. Can supply a video of engine running and it driving on private land last year on request. There is no mot on this landy so will need to be trailered away , a great little project for someone who has the time to devote to it.
