Fits Land Rover Series 1,2 & 3 power take off positions. Hydraulic drive unit and 1P Dowty external gear pump complete. Will fit the centre PTO or bottom PTO positions.

Unit fits the LT67 transfer box on Series Land Rovers. The unit was manufactured by Aeroparts Engineering/Powamate for Land Rover and comes complete with dog clutch, pump coupling dog & sleeve and gasket.

The 1P pump that is fitted (1P 3060 CF 7702) is set up for clockwise rotation direction looking at the pump shaft. Which means that it must be driven by the centre PTO, as this is has clockwise output. Complete Centre PTO selector assembly RTC7014 is included. The hydraulic drive unit alone, fits either the bottom or centre PTO positions.

To use it on the bottom PTO you will have to fit an anti clockwise 1P pump. Dowty type 1P external gear pumps are still being manufactured. You can now get external gear pumps that will work both clockwise and anti clockwise. The hydraulic drive unit is in good condition.

The 1P pump has sat on the shelf for a long time so I don't know what state the seals are in. (The 1P 3060 will pump 27 lpm at 1500rpm which at 1800psi will give you about 12hp of power). Parts diagram and parts list for the pump drive and selector assembly, technical specification & data for 1P Dowty external gear pumps are included in PDF format. This kit means you can immediately have a set up for hydraulic power from your Series Land Rover.
