Land Rover Lightweight Series 3 Tax Exempt 1973 200TDI

  

For Sale my lovely 1973 Lightweight Series 3 Land Rover. I bought the Land Rover already restored by a 4x4 garage. It has been restored to a very high standard.

You won't find many looking as good. The canvas roof is pristine. All body panels are straight. (passenger's side windscreen in bottom corner does have a small crack in it sadly) Over drive fitted. I bought it for the body work and I had to do work on the engine, I fitted a 200 TDi Discovery engine and it goes like the proverbial off a shovel.

Log book has not been updated for the 200TDI engine so that would need doing. I have had to replace the speedo soon after its MOT in August 2016. Also had a new rear propshaft fitted by myself. I have also had it waxoyled was painted when I got it but thought it would be better having a good coat of waxoyl.

 This is a basic army vehicle, don't expect soundproofing, heater or fitted carpets, you need a big coat on! It will be fabulous in the summer with the roof off. I just don't use it due to work commitments and it needs using. MOT due 31st August 2017 Heated windscreen been fitted not been wired in.
