Land rover series 1 1950 80

  

Hi due to a variety of reasons i have decided to sell my series 1. It is a runner but does require a small amount of work to get her roadworthy, areas that need attention are the rear brake lights are not connected up (needs wiring and are non original also) although the rest of the lights all work as they should, the horn doesn't work (again electrical fault).

The accelerator cable is connected directly to the pedal (see photo) although i have several of the parts with the car to put it back to normal but not all. The seats, steering wheel, tailgate are non original but all do the job. As you can see in the photos it has got a few dents in places and the bulkhead requires attention on the drivers side(see photos) on the plus side the chassis is in good condition it does drive and stop OK although i've hardly used it so needs a bit of TLC. It has a later rover 2L engine fitted which is a good runner as is the gearbox i'm unsure if the running gear etc are original but may well be. A persistent recurring back problem means crawling under is a no no and future work on it by myself is out but potential buyers feel free to come and have a poke about.

Any relevant questions just ask and i will answer as best i can stupid ones will be ignored!! Whilst it is a runner it would be best to bring a trailer due to areas highlighted.
