For Sale: 1955 Land Rover Series 1 Genuine Factory Station Wagon - Left Hand Drive. Chassis is very sound apart from front bulkhead outriggers which will require replacement as well as some repairs to the front dumb irons - other than this it is in great condition.

The bulkhead will require new footwells and top rail (fairly common for these 86 bulkheads). The car is fitted with it's original engine, gearbox and drive-line. The engine comes complete will all ancillaries as pictured and has the original 1st month 1956 date stamped radiator. Further, the correct spec HT leads and Spark Plug caps where also fitted, the plugs themselves have been changed and the engine oil also changed.

The engine runs well, we have driven the car in Hi-Range and Low-Range 4x4 in all gears, the gearbox changes gear nicely also! Basically we have the basis here for great patina station wagon if that is what what floats your boat, or fully restore it to it's former glory and being supplied in RAF blue - this is one of the most sought after colours of these cars.

It has all the hard parts to get for a wagon such as the rear door, safari roof and the rear seats as well - though only has two of the rear seat bases as pictured.
