Land Rover Series 1 1956 project

  
This is a 1956 Series 1 Land Rover and I have been told it is rare as it has a hard top. I have looked up the chassis number and this shows it to be an 88 inch. It is a serious project and definitely not for the faint hearted as it has been completely disassembled quite a while ago. On the plus side it has numbers matching and I have the V5. The only part I know to be missing is the exhaust. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was running when it was taken apart but I have never had it running so cannot verify whether it runs or not. The chassis is in good condition for its age and only needs some work at one end.

The bulk head is in fairly bad shape but replacement foot wells come with it and it could be repaired. Please also be prepared to transport the various parts as well as the chassis as it is quite large. It is 5 feet (1m 53cm) wide and 11 feet 3 inches (3m 43cm) long.
