LAND ROVER SERIES 1 86 1955 2L petrol fully restored

  

This series 1 Landrover as undergone full restoration, the original chassis as had all new out riggers and cross member replaced before sand blasting acid dipping then galvanizing. The original bulkhead has had a new top rail , new foot wells and door post bottoms before galvanizing. Both chassis and bulkhead were t-washed before etch primed them painted in 2k deep bronze green. The original 2L petrol engine has had a full rebuild including brand new cylinder block, 4 new pistons , new piston rings, new main and big end bearings, and cylinder head re-faced. Axels stripped cleaned rebuild replacing oil seals and any bearing needed.

Wheel rims sand blasted before spraying. All door frames, body cappings, bumper, wind screen surround and brackets have been re-galvanized. Here is a list of some of the new and restored parts used on this rebuild. New braided wiring loom from auto sparks. New Exmoor canvas tilt + new rain channels. New Exmoor seats + re-galvanized brackets. 5x new classic pattern tyres. New windscreen, side windows and Perspex sliding windows.

Full new floor fitted front and rear. New door skins including tail gate skin replaced. New rubber door seals fitted. Imperial stainless bolts used to rebuild.

Reconditioned original radiator with new core. Recond smiths heater with new matrix. New brakes shoes, cylinders and brake pipes. New axle swivel balls and seals.
