Land Rover Series 1 88 for Restoration

  

UK car that would originally of had a diesel in it, they were only produced for 10 months unfortunately it now has a 2250 petrol in it that rune well. I have the V5 in my name. The chassis is good original condition but would benefit from x2 new outriggers and some light welding on the back end. The bulkhead is in not too bad condition. It does have a hole on the left hand side above the vents and is starting to bubble up in places.

Also the gear box tunnel has a hole in it on the left side. All the wiring will need looking at as some things are working and some are not. The fuel tank has a leak in it so it has to be run off a temporary one, i do have all the seats for it some where they will be included if i can find them.

The car is in need of a master cylinder as there are no brakes on the fut brake just the hand brake. It is fitted with overdrive, I think it is one of the first to have this as standard, it also has free wheeling hubs and parabolic suspension so drives and rides well for a series 1. There is a spare wheel as well. It will need to be trailed away but it will drive on the trailer its self no problem.
