Here we have a 1949/50 series 1 it has been in our barn for the past 11 years and in a local barn certainly at least 20 years from what the farmer can remember, I have fitted 2 new tyres on one side and if it sells I have 2 for the other side that I will fit when it comes out of the shed. At some stage it has had a rear crossmember fitted {poorly} but needs removing as it is for a series 2, chassis is in my opinion very good but needs attention to crossmember, one outrigger {supplied}, and front dumb irons{n/s has small hole where bumper bolts on and o/s has a bigger hole}. Engine is a 1.6, turns over and has the Army plate showing work done in 1955. It has done military service {military reg is on a plate under the bonnet}, and as the reg is some 14 years after manufacture, the grill is green behind the silver. Sale is for the landrover only non of the spares or junk around it.
