Land Rover Series 2 II 1961 88 2.25 Petrol Galvanised Chassis, Berks Reg YDP 430

  

This lovely Series 2 was registered YDP 430 on 5th September 1961 in Reading Berkshire. It was supplied by T Baker & Sons in Friar Street Reading the Rover dealer. The chrome dealer plaque is still present as per photo.

Correct 2.25 petrol engine fitted which starts and runs well. New MOT until Sept 2017. A galvanised chassis has been fitted at some point presumably when the old one become uneconomic to repair.

This means the chassis is in very sound condition and needs no welding now or in the forseeable future. Comes with an up to date V5 Registration document and the valuable original reg number is transferable but that would be a terrible shame! Old MOTs dating back to 2002 when the mileage was 55,400 miles and now showing 62400 miles so only 7,000 miles in 14 years!

Comes fitted with an as new Bikini Canvas Tilt. I have a truck cab if you prefer it to the soft top?
