LAND ROVER SERIES 2A. Really nice condition. 1971. With a nice difference

  
Here is my very nice Land Rover Series 2A. Leave those unsuspecting boy racers at the lights and watch their faces as you floor this lovely sweet Ford V6 3000cc petrol engine fitted. Fitted to a very high standard many years ago, judging by the old mot certificates and history that comes with it. And what a glorious sound from the exhaust too. A superb burble both on acceleration and deceleration too.

Long mot until the end of September 2017. Really solid and presentable as you can see. Bulkhead and chassis both good. Really smart interior with all 3 black front seats in good order.

One rear bench seat in back to seat friends who enjoy a thrill ride. Footwells very good, door tops very good and fitted with I believe military style windows which are very solid and slide and shut with precision. They look the part to as you can see.

Nice fitted black carpets in the front in good condition. Starts on the button with a roar!!

Very light steering with this lighter engine. 4 speed original Land Rover gearbox all working well. Even has a nice little rev counter fitted that glows a blue hue when your lights are on. Very bright indeed actually, need your sunglasses on!! Canvas rear is in good order as you can see.

Also has roll bar fitted for extra safety. Good tyres all round and spare mounted on the bonnet. Bodywork in good condition and has had a professional respray at some point in recent years. It is NOT a rollered job like a few!!! A few ripples in the straightness down the sides as expected for a 45 year old Landy.

The worst small area needing a quick blow in is as shown. But overall its very nice. Cash on collection for remainder, or bank transfer, within 7 days please. Chassis and bulkhead are in very good condition. Chassis has all been machine wire brushed and painted.

Both footwells and drivers door pillar replaced professionally. New front shock absorber bushes fitted. New track rod end boots. New gear lever and handbrake lever gaiters fitted. New front bumper fitted and number plate holder and number plate.

New battery fitted 2015 and still under guarantee. New water pump fitted to engine. New HT leads, distributor cap, plugs and points all fitted.

Carburettor has been rebuilt and engine has been tuned at a professional garage. New wiper motor, flasher unit and windscreen washer pump fitted. 3 x UJs replaced on propshaft and all greased.
