My Series 2a Land Rover heavily modified for off road use and comes with 12 months MOT. I have owned this 2 years and has been 100% reliable, starts first time every time.

The previous owner carried out all the modifications as he used the vehicle for trials use. Fitment of a 3.5L Rover V8 from a police riot van. Long wheelbase large brake and servo upgrade. Fuel tank moved from underneath to inside boot. Off road wheels and tyres with good tread plus 5th spare. Bucket seats with many rips and tears. The car sounds great, I bought a new pair of down pipes and y'piece to convert it to a side pipe style system but never got round to it so exhaust comes with it.

Also a 5 litre tin of army olive drab paint I was going to put on it that i never got round to doing. This is a go anywhere vehicle that is rough as anything. The bulkhead has had patches welded onto it and has fibreglass patches on it too. The MOT i had done last week had 2 advisories of slight corrosion on bulkhead floor but passed. Since then I have treated the rust and patched it up and painted it over with black hammerite.

The chassis is absolutely solid as anything though. This really is a car to just get in and have a laugh in that is totally unusual. The fuel gauge does not work, the tank has a fill point from inside and has a dipstick. There is a fuel light on the dash to warn when fuel is getting low. I have replaced brake shoes and wheel cylinders all round plus new master cylinder.

Brakes are excellent for an old land rover. Which is great as the thing goes like stink. 4 wheel drive and low ratio all works fine.

I have changes diff and box oils after my last off roading session as I had muddy water over the bonnet so engine is covered in dry mud, runs sweet as anything. Ignition coil has been moved inside cab to keep it dry. Car is located near Wexham Park Hospital, Slough. I repeat this car is rough and ready to go, Everything thats needs to work for safety does.

Only 4 previous owners in past 50 years and 45700 miles. I have 8 MOT's and the logbook.
