Land Rover Series 3 109 V8 Stage One galvanised massive spec

  
Rebuilt 2007/2008 by previous Superstar! Owner and his son onto/with the galvanised bits, using stainless steel fastenings where appropriate. Since then I have added to the specification somewhat. All mechanical/electrical work, servicing etc has been done by professionals. No expense has been spared in this regard, however I dont believe Ive ever washed the exterior and only given the inside an occasional brush-out.

I accept this wont be to everyones taste (or perhaps anyones), but to my mind its how a proper Land Rover should be... Dont get me started on some of the abominations bearing the green oval that blight our towns and cities nowadays! Andrew Morris stainless steel fuel tank.

Chris Perfect parabolic springs and Pro Comp shocks. And below is a list covering (most of) my additions..

Rocky Mountain aluminium door tops. Zeus Engineering disc brake conversion front and back (with extended wheel studs). Genuine Land Rover heavy duty Wolf wheels with nearly new BF Goodrich 235/85r16 mud terrains x5. Havair custom made stainless steel exhaust including headers. Nearly new Exmoor Trim full tilt.

Mobile Storage Systems lockable cubby box. Exmoor Trim side facing two seater bench seats with belts. Revotec engine fan - much better than others Ive had experience of. These are a better fit for Series LWBs than the Mantec equivalents as they are slightly smaller.

Ive not got round to fitting them but are included in the sale. Soon after purchasing the Stage One I acquired another to dismantle for spares. The chassis and bulkhead are gone but I think Ive kept the rest, certainly the important bits, and these are all included in the sale.. Original engine (swapped as using too much oil). Front and back axles (Stage One front axles are unique I believe, rears are a Salisbury). Front and rear propshafts (unique to Stage One).

Truck cab with Lasalle headlining. Full hard top (no back door).

Bonnet (unique to Stage One). Front wings (Stage One outers are standard Series 3, the inners are unique). I will not part with any of these before the vehicle itself sells. I also have a Pathfinder 9x9 Land Rover tent, in nearly new condition, I will include in the sale.

This is a copy of the army 9x9 and has a sleeve that fits over the back of a Land Rover... Great if camping is still on the agenda.

Theres loads more I could say about this vehicle as its my pride and joy. If you know about these things youll appreciate how unique an opportunity this is if youre in the market for such a vehicle. This is up for sale as my better half detests it, and will no longer go anywhere in it, so it now gets very little use. I could also do with freeing up some cash to fund a year back in education and space in our garage and garden.

Price wise, Ive no idea what such a vehicle is worth, so whilst Im prepared to consider offers, please bear in mind Im not in any way desperate to get rid.
