Land Rover Series 3 Gearbox
This is a late Series 3 box, Type C and will fit 2 1/4 Litre petrol or diesel models. It is supplied complete with the Transfer Box, and 4 wheel Drive Box. The Selector levers for the 4 speed box, the High/Low ratio box and the 4 wheel drive are included. The transmission was fitted with a Fairly Overdrive, but this has been removed. A new output gear, rear bearing housing and bearing has been fitted in its place. The clutch release mechanism is installed. Shaft seals on the front and rear drive shafts were replaced about 3,000 miles ago. The whole assembly has been cleaned.
