Land Rover Series 3 Station Wagon

  
Up for sale is my Land Rover restoration project that I acquired several years ago with a view to doing a patina type restoration. This is an original un-restored early series 3 example of the 7 seater SWB station wagon with a tropical roof and sun visor. The Landy was registered under the previous title since 1975 and was last licenced in 1993, so has now stood untouched for many years. The clock is indicating 89935 miles and an old MOT from 1985 has recorded mileage of 62400. The original licence plates are off the vehicle but are available, as is the current V5 in my name. I have done nothing to it apart from moving it on a trailer from its previous long standing home to mine and as expected its stiff and not rolling with ease. I have since acquired many parts for restoration.

Also including a pair of new door top frames and your choice of two more door bottoms for parts. Also included is a scrappy bulkhead which does however have a good gutter section that will be needed and possibly other sections. From what I can see the bulk of the chassis looks solid but does have some surface rust where not covered in oil.

The passenger side of the door post and floor will both need work as will the doors in the usual places. The driver side of the floor itself looks okay and not much that I can see wrong there. Generally all the upholstery and panelling is in a poor state. As can be seen it has all the signs of a working vehicle however no sign of any major accident therefore as straight as can be expected.
