Land rover series one 80 inch restoration project

  
The Series 1 is the beginning of the Land Rover story and the brainchild of Maurice and Spencer Wilks, who both had converted vehicles to help them around their Farm and Estate, both of which just werent up to the job. Having arrived 2 years earlier in 1948 as the Land Rover the vehicle proved so popular with the military and farming fraternity that demand massively outstripped supply. This vehicle came in a number of various guises over its 10 year production run but this is one of the most desirable and rare. Its 80 wheelbase is complete and she is in Barn Find condition having lived its life in a very dry climate.

Any rust is limited to surface with the chassis and bulkhead in great condition. This is a project for someone who knows the collect-ability of these early Series 1 Land Rovers. We have it for sale as is, but this car is so original it really deserves a full restoration. I had big plans for it and would love to see it back on the roads again so the next owner could be you. She isn't running as it is a project as mentioned.
