LAND ROVER SWB 88 SERIES llA with Galvanised Chassis, Winch and much more

  
My late brother bought this 1968 SWB Land Rover in 2003. This desirable Series llA is considered by many as the most hardy series model constructed. His subsequent program of renovation and improvements have enhanced an already classic vehicle. These include but probable not exhaustive the following. Galvanised Richards Chassis, new fixtures. Bulkhead refurbishment and galvanising by Ashtree land rovers.

Correct 4 cylinder petrol 2286cc engine with lead free head by Turner engineering. Overdrive unit by Roamerdrive Canadian company.

Capstan winch by Fairey (land rover kit 5300). Flat heater - improvement from the original round Smiths. Comes with British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certified copy of factory record. States it was a 88 basic model with. Currently hand painted in grey it just needs minor bodywork repairs and a respray to finish what will be a very sound classic ready to live another 50 years.

Mass of invoices and documentation. Invoices indicate the Carburettor, steering box, brakes, radiator and gearbox have been overhauled. Vehicle inspection can be arranged by ringing 01458833971.
