This is a retirement sale and more complete project Land Rovers will be offered in due course. For Sale is my Land Rover Series 2 1959 SWB 88 Soft Top in Bronze Green Just Painted. This is went into the RAF in 1959 and is no 398 made. I have a dating letter from the heritage center. Fantastic looking Land Rover loads of original features plus a canvas roof, new paint, great chassis. She runs and drives and changes gear but will need work to the brakes all parts supplied. IT IS A GREAT LOOKING CAR WITH A VERY SOLID GOOD CHASSIS. Take a Look At The Video: Shows her driving.

This has a 2.25l Petrol engine fitted and i had this running today see the video. Clutch is working fine and i drove her today around my field in all gears see the video. LIST OF NEW PARTS FITTED. CAP, POINTS, ROTOR ARM AND CONDENSER.

Chassis is very good and solid and all weather coated - more pics are on my google drive above, recent new rear crossmember. Complete car lots of many original features.

The panel work is pretty good for a Series 2. It has a brand new soft top roof.

The bulkhead is good and is the metal type with center dash pod. The electrics have not been tested or used and will need some tinkering. The brakes dont work and will need rehauling - i will supply new shoes, cylinders, pipes, and master cylinder. This in mind you will need to get trailered home ask if you need a quote.
