RESTORED Land Rover Series 1 2 2a 3 Centre PTO Power Take Off with Selector

  
Part no: 230855 with a 509076'through heel board' selector. This PTO is a very nice 87 prefix centre PTO with a post October 1960'through heel board' selector that was used up to the early Series 3 period. This PTO is an example of the 4th design variant of the centre PTO and has the advantage of a mud flinger, protecting the oil seal.

The centre PTO was fully stripped and. All steel parts were chemically de-rusted and alloy parts vapour honed. The PTO was then rebuilt with new quality bearings. New oil seals and gaskets were also fitted as a matter of course.

The selector was also fully stripped cleaned and chemically de-rusted. On reassembly a new detent ball and spring was used along with new clevis' for the pivot points and even includes the correct longer mounting stud to mount the lever to the transfer box and a new genuine grommet for the heel board. Comes complete with gaskets so is ready to fit. Perfect for your concours Series 2 or 2a restoration. Part number is for reference only.
