This is likely to be one of the best equipped Toylander Land Rovers you will find. A one off completed to a high standard by someone who restores Series Land Rovers.

All body and mechanical components are from Toylander the body was then joint sealed, primed and finished in NATO green paint. Recently completed, hardly used and has never got wet, apart from drizzle on the day of the photoshoot! 12v motor and new sealed gel SAFETY battery and securing strap.

Quiet and powerful in operation. Variable speed (aprox 4mph and will stop when foot is taken the off accelerator pedal). Final drive is by chain to rear wheel. Front swing axle helps to maintain both front wheels on the ground.

Foot brake and hand brake. Working front and rear lights including indicators. Seats adjustable to fit anything from two 3 year olds up to two teenagers.

Toylander specify that it can be used with two five year olds and an adult which the frame and motor can handle. Additional features on this Toylander. Front tow rope with simulated winch for winding tow rope around. Foam padded canvas seats made from WW2 map cases.

Army green torch with interchangeable coloured lenses. Vintage dial, looks like a speedo.

Vintage canvas rolls that can be secured over the rear of the Toylander to secure the luggage area. Ignition key replaced with a more robust on/off switch. Gear lever/box with simulated gear action and original series Land Rover gear knob. Windscreen wipers (movable by internal handle). Featured in the local paper.

Some students helped out at some stages of the project. This Land Rover will feel like the real thing having used original army additions, not like a new Toy that has just come out of a shop! All the extras were enjoyed as much by my nieces as driving it. Underside woodwork and metalwork painted in gloss black paint. Ainted in Nato green matt paint.

Paint available for future touch ups if wanted. Original ammunition box (with tool roll and selection of tools for Toylander). Two rear pockets, one detachable (one with army green plastic mug). Side mounted canvas bivvy role holder. Wheelbase 1070mm/ 42 1/8" Turning circle: 5260mm / 207 1/8" L: 1780mm / 70 ¾" W: 712mm / 28" body OR 796mm / 31½ with handles fitted. Aprox 80mm wider with spade/canvas rolls. H: to folded screen/ steering wheel ht 770mm / 30½ Basic car, without battery: 78 kg. Additional length of trailer: 1190mm. I have fitted the Toylander without trailer into our Volvo V50 with seats down and steering wheel removed (one bolt).

This is as small as estate cars get! I can get it in/out by myself but two person lift would be advised. It would easily fit in a Passet/Galaxy sized car. The ultimate Christmas present and with care and a little maintenance this will give a lucky child years of fun. You will then be in a position to resell for close to what you paid for it.
