Youtube link of series 1 running and driving. Here we have for sale a 1949 series 1 80 Land Rover lights behind the grill (currently got the wrong grill fitted may have the right one).

This is a very reluctant sale as I was planning on restoring this to its former glory but now my circumstances have changed and I don't want to see it on the yard rotting. It runs and drives, the electrics work, the brakes stop you and it has the doors tops. It is currently fitted with a very sweet 2.25 petrol and later box meaning no over heating which was a common problem with the 1.6 petrol and also makes the Land Rover slightly more useable on the road. The bulkhead and chassis are very good with no rot or any drastic problems. I have the full set of original wheels to go with the Land Rover some of the tyres were flat so I changed them over so I could drive her.

The series 1 is very original bar the engine and box with the correct seats, original dash panel and original door tops. It could do with a new canvas which would, in my opinion. Freshen the series 1 up no end. The price is negotiable and I'm happy to receive offers from prospective buyers and I look forward to hearing from you.

As mentioned in the title it is a two owner vehicle (probably pretty rare but I don't like to speculate about these things) and I do have the full log book in my name.
