1962 Land Rover Series 2a

  
In 2003 the mileage was 65544 and is documented up to 2016 when it was 68881. I therefore believe the current low mileage is genuine.

The chassis is in excellent, solid, original condition. That includes the rear cross member and outriggers (see pic). The doors and bulkhead are also solid and in good condition. The canvas roof is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or missing straps. Inside it is very clean.

The seats have been covered and appear to be in excellent condition underneath but I haven't removed the covers at all. The footwells are excellent with no welding. The passenger side top of the footwell has a hole in it. Being ex Military it has twin fuel tanks.

It comes with the original handle for hand starting the engine. The Land Rover starts, runs and drives really well. Selects gears nicely and steers well (for a Series). The wipers and'heater' have been disconnected and are untested..

Not really an issue as the heaters are useless and wipers can be operated manually! I highly recommend viewing if possible. Please don't forget this is a 57yr old Land Rover and not a modern vehicle.
