1964 Land Rover Series 2a (IIa) 2¼ (2.25) diesel PROJECT

  

I bought her a little over a year ago with the intentions of restoring. She's been stored in my car port since then with me doing bits and pieces and shopping for the parts I wanted to take her back to being original. The fact of the matter is (ask the wife) , I have far too many projects on the go with limited space and time to do them all... I need my carport and trailer back (parts stored in trailer) and something has to give.

Part of my plan was to learn as I go and strip her right back to the chassis and rebuild from there... I even went and got a City & Guilds in mig welding. I've managed to drop on some decent enough original wings and an excellent condition front grill, all of which is included in the sale. I'm not prepared to comment on the chassis or bulkhead for fear of being wrong. You're welcome to come and have a butchers..
