1970 Land Rover Series 3 88. For Sale is my 1970 Land Rover Series 3 88 fitted with a Galvanised chassis and all the goodies. This is a very nice example of a Series 3 fitted with all the extras you could want to make it a usable classic! Great driving Series 3 with all the toys. The 200Tdi engine starts first touch and runs superbly returning excellent MPG. [It's been fully Serviced 300 Miles ago]. The Original 4- Speed manual gearbox selects well and benefits from Overdrive and a New Clutch around 300 Miles ago.

The Land Rover has been fitted with Discovery axles so gains extra track, extra strength, Disc brakes and higher gearing. The Land Rover is fitted with heavy duty Parabolic Springs and Monroe shocks which provide a very comfortable ride.

The Chassis was replaced with a new Galvanised Chassis a few years ago and is in superb condition. Power steering has been fitted with the engine swap and the steering is super light and positive. The interior is great benefitting from sound deadening and Defender XS half leather seats. Smaller Mountney Steering wheel fitted for extra cab space [Works great with Power Steering]. Roll cage fitted in the rear load area with ammo boxes for tidy storage of the Jack etc.. CD Player/Radio with speakers, can actually be heard in the Cab! This is a 47 year old Land Rover but drives like a vehicle half it's age. I'm not interested in silly offers as I'm just testing the water and won't mind keeping the Land Rover as it costs very little to run. Interested in PX of Classic Cars or other Land Rovers.
