1972 Series 3 Land Rover

  

1972 early series 3, in very usable condition. It was in pretty good condition to start with, it starts runs and drives really well for a 47 year old vehicle and the chassis seems to be in good solid condition.

I have given it a service, replaced all the shock absorbers and fitted a new uprated alternator. Also I sourced a genuine steering wheel to replace the rubbish after market one it came with and I've added a middle seat and belt.

There are a couple of minor issues consistant with a vehicle of this type and age, there is a slight crunch going into 2nd gear, I think it just the synchromesh as it works fine double clutching. The bodywork it looking a little tired, the previous owner has touched it up in a few places but the paint doesn't quite match, and the doors don't fit properly, I think the seals are too big. All in all if your looking for a great usable old Landy, for either a work horse or a good starting point for a full restoration at a good price, look no further.
