1975 Land Rover Series 3 New MOT plenty of character tax exempt

  
My beloved series 3 that I have had for just over 2 years. In the 2 years that I have had him I have enjoyed many hours of tinkering and have carried out the following maintenance.

1 Re wired the engine loom, whereby all wiring was replaced and now all electrics functions as they should. 2 Replaced front seats with factory standard, from that period.

3 Replaced steering relay and he now subsequently drives in a straight line without too much effort. 4 New battery fitted yesterday. 6 MOT'd last week with no advisories. He is by no means perfect, and is a little rough around the edges, cosmetically, BUT as a whole he is mechanically and structurally sound - no major rust, no major mechanical or electrical issues and drives as you would hope for a vehicle of this age and character. I would just like to mention that it does pop out of second gear but other than that he drives without problem.

It would be a great project for anyone wanting a cheap and road worthy Landy to start playing with. Equally it would be perfect for someone to use periodically indeed day-to-day for off roading and tip runs, as I have done for the last couple of years.
