1980 Land Rover Series 3 109

  
Hi and thanks for looking at my lovely Land Rover Series 3 109. As you can see from the pictures, he (or she) is a rather handsome beast. It always garners lots of attention wherever we go and whilst I wouldn't say it's a'pleasure' to drive, it certainly is an experience!!

Always very good fun which is the main point of owning one of these right. I bought the vehicle in 2018 and have done a lot of work to get it through the MOT. New brake lines and new shoes all round. Tightening of steering wheel Boss. The chassis is in excellent condition as is the bulk head, nice straight panels with good solid doors.

The footwells are in great condition also. Starts very well unless extremely cold but to be expected from a car of this age. The engine is a 2.5 Perkins diesel which sounds great and all gear changes work well including hi and low ratios. It currently has leather seats from a disco or similar, if I were to keep the car I would take these back to'original' as i think they look better but they do add a little comfort.

Interior is sprayed black and is in very good condition. It also shows battery charge and has space for a radio should you wish to fit one. I have the V5 as well as the current MOT and paperwork to confirm the works I have carried out.
