1984 Series 3 land Rover 88 SWB

  

I have tried my best but I have to be honest, it has beaten me. It is so close to being finished but I have lost all my enthusiasm/patience/marbles with it. Last of the Series 3's before the 90 was introduced so will appreciate!

Chassis has been blasted, repaired and painted. New rear crossmember and front dumb irons fitted. Bulkhead has had new legs, new footwells and top corners fitted. All chassis/suspension bushes have been renewed. New brake pipes and flexi pipes.

Has a very rare head lining and windscreen top cover. (and the straw that broke the camels back).

Needs new wheel cylinders on the front as the bleed nipples are fubarred and wont come out. Needs a good quality starter solenoid as I've put two Shtpart ones on and they've both been crap.

Needs the electrics finishing off. It doesn't run because of the solenoid but it will turn over with direct feed from the battery. The 600x16 security tyres fitted to LWB rims are well past their best but included in the sale are 1 new tyre and 4 lightly worn tyres on rims. Lots of bits in a crate to finish it off, seatbelts, dash centre console switches etc and also a tin of paint. I'm sure if you've got a weekend free and were good with electrics you could get it ready for an MOT. Unfortunately, I haven't and I'm not so it has to go! I'm sure I've missed loads so please feel free to call or message me.
