2004 toylander Land rover series 2 for kids Twin Motors Forward neutral/reverse

  

Soft start variable accelerator pedal. Twin Motors for better traction. Extra switches for lights (not connected). Foot brake and hand brake.

This is a toylander mk2 2 wheel drive 24volt which I built in 2004 for my boys, This was one of the best toys ever and the boys loved it, being a 2wd model with twin motors it is much better than the standard 1 wheel drive and its an expensive extra you probably wont find another twin motor toylander out there, I also used Marine ply instead of mdf or cheaper ply so this landrover is very strong and durable compared to mdf which can not get wet not very good for a land rover! My boys are now grown up and we no longer have anywhere to use it so its time to let someone else have some fun. We have just fitted 2 new batteries and it can be seen working, as you can see the bodywork is very realistic and land rover like! After I built it I had it professionally sprayed but I think with use it now looks much better and more realistic than it did when newly painted! The land rover has been in storage for a number of years covered over, The lights were never fitted but with availability of LED lights now these could easily be used.

One brake light lens and one indicator lens have been lost and the Perspex in the windscreen has a crack down the middle due to someone resting a tool box on it while in storage, These are all minor and make it look more realistic!
