Ex Military Land Rover Series 3 109

  
Had this Land Rover for about 18 months now and bought it originally to restore it back to its former self. Rescued it from a student who did not fully appreciate Land Rovers. A lot of work has already been done to restore it. Was blue and orange when I first got it. I have replaced the rear section of the exhaust, replaced the performance filter with an original Oil Bath filter, tried my best to rescue the wiring (this might need some more work done), replaced the front spotlights, painted the outside (although still needs a second coat), tidied up the wiring in the engine bay (was like a crows nest originally) and replaced various bits and bobs, too numerous to remember. The headlights have also been upgraded, making it almost possible to drive in a moonless night. There is some rust on the bulkhead as pictured, but is an easy fix. The chassis is still solid. This is a very old lady and has the wrinkles to show it. This will be the ideal Land Rover for anyone to restore, regardless of skill level. Mechanically I have had no issues with her and still has the original 2.25 litre engine in. She still gets used on a regular basis to go mountain biking in across the country.
