Now where do we start. I guess if your looking you no all about these old things. Well this one is pretty original with its original 2.25 petrol engine original gearbox and axles. It sits on its original chassis which has had a complete professional rebuild no bird poo welding and over plating, all rot was cut out and new steel welded in.

It has then been treated inside with. Dinitrol 3125 to help keep rust at bay, all holes drilled and fitted with plastic plugs to enable a yearly top up. The outside was treated with Dinitrol 4941. The Bulkhead has had new footwells fitted and has been treated internally with Dinitrol 3125. The front panel has had the bottom 4 inches removed and a repair panel welded in.

Will take some pics of the inside after the weekend but its pretty much original with the 2 independent wipers on the screen, original 1962 dash, wire spoke steering wheel, round smiths heater complete with screen vents and 4 of the original elephant hide seats, sadly the drivers and passengers seat bases have been replaced even still has the original chain link mats fitted. Everything works as it should, the engine runs really nice with no smoke, gear box works as it should though there is no synchromesh on first and second gear as fitted. I'll start with a list of what's new (probably easier to say what's not). New Borg and Beck clutch less than 200 miles ago. New original Solex carb (almost impossible to find) only fitted about 50 miles ago not fitted in pictures sorry will try add more after the weekend.

New clutch slave cylinder and stainless flexi fitted same time as clutch. Full ignition service new leads, distributer cap, plugs, rotor arm, condensor and points all Lucas. New Mintex Brake shoes all round. New Hub oil seals and distance pieces all hubs 1 new Timken wheel bearing all others repacked and adjusted.

New undercover covers Tilt as original with small rear window tilt in Khaki. New Goodyear G90 tyres x 5 7.50 x 16 on LWB rims. New halogen headlights and buckets. New nearside chrome swivel assembly. New galvanised inner wing mud shields.

I'm sure there's a lot more if you scan through the receipts and history. Passenger door could do with a tiny adjust to realign the cappings opens and shuts fine though. Paint probably not as good as the pictures make out but looks fine slight bubbling to bottom of doors. A really good original old Land Rover viewing welcome by prior arrangement in Liverpool. As it is used daily yes it is serviced regularly having just had all oils changed in the last 50 miles. All oil gearbox, transfer box, engine and swivels was drained and refilled not just topped up all bearings checked regularly adjusted and greased.

There is no radio fitted and no it does not have air conditioning unless you open the flaps on the bulkhead if you haven't owned a series Land Rover before I would.
