Land Rover, Diesel, Series 2, 1961

  
I only bought Gordon in March 2016. Since then it has been registered, had considerable work, passed an MOT but sadly not used much. Gordon therefore goes up for sale.

The MOT is valid until 20 June 2017. Chassis has numerous patches and covered in heavy underseal.

Fuel tank damp, may have slight leak when full. Brake pivot worn but not seriously weakened (parking).

Gordon has new tyres (5), battery, shock absorbers and has had a lot of garage work done (receipt available). Gordon was originally red but the last owner brush painted it green before sale. I believe that the original engine is still fitted. Gordon needs work to make it reliable. It is for sale as is, where is.

You are welcome to examine Gordon the weekend of 21/22. Lots of questions coming in.

1- The engine is a 2286cc diesel. It last ran in July 2016 - a bit smokey. 2- First registered 19 September 1961. Unlikely to get what I spent back. 4- I will be available this weekend for viewers.
