Land Rover Early Series TWO 3 Bolt Tailgate Hinges x 2

  
This is a pair of Genuine Land Rover Tailgate hinges for the Early Series 2 vehicles. These early type hinges have 3 fixing bolts instead of 2. They are made of much thicker metal and have a different profile from the later type hinges - see photo 5 - the later type hinge is NOT included in this sale.

By way of a difference these early hinges weigh around 695g as opposed to 394g for the later type. As can be seen from the photos, they have suffered a bit in use with a few dents and scrapes, but bearing in mind they were fitted to a working vehicle. The galvanising has worn off on some of the surfaces. It would be worth having them properly galvanised to bring them up to original standard.

These are quite rare items.
