Ex Royal Marines 1983 Land Rover Lightweight Series III (winterised version), military reg 56KB01. Original 2.25 petrol engine. As much I would love to keep my lightweight I just don't have the time or space to do her justice.

She has a very original patina and hasn't been modified; I have fitted electronic ignition so she runs really well but I have the original distributor should you wish to reinstall it. New Exmoor trim canvas hood fitted last year (again I still have the original). Dry stored all the time I've had her.

As a winterised Lightweight she has an extra heater installed in place of the middle front seat, the ample hot air is piped overhead into the cabin, she also has the original hessian insulation on the doors as well as a map pocket on the passenger door and the extra tie down hooks on the exterior bulkhead to attach external padded insulation (which I don't have sadly). Please also note the gun rack in the rear and NATO tow hitch.
