Land Rover Series 1, 109 Diesel 1957

  

For sale is my 1957 Land Rover Series 1 109 Diesel, fitted with its original 2l Diesel. Since owning the vehicle it has had some work done to the bulk head and the rear end (back of cab backwards) was completely refurbished, including rebuilt springs, shocks, new rear cross member, original tailgate fitted, wheel bearings brakes etc. Its has a new set of seat cushions fitted as well. My long term plan was to refurbish the mechanics of the vehicle completely, but leave to body exactly as is to show it life and history in full. Its runs and drives well, and from memory they only made around 200 of this model and so this one is a rare survivor.

Recently driven to the mecca'Red Wharf Bay' and back with no issues. It is available to view in Worcestershire near Kidderminster, tel; 07818 420678.
