Land Rover Series 1 1956 86 roadworthy and rare

  
This 1956 Series 1 Land Rover was bought by the present owner about two years ago and has been sympathetically restored with original parts to keep it as original as possible. Improvements have included new seats, front bumper, front springs, carburettor, new exhaust manifold, new cam and followers, big ends and piston rings - all completed within the last 12 months. It is in fair condition, though please bear in mind that this is a 60 year old vehicle and will have the natural wear and tear that this entails. There is still room for improvement; for example with new door seals and window rubbers. The rear window has a small crack.

There is a slight rattle when starting and I have been told this is the timing chain which needs attention. It is clean and tidy throughout. This is a hard to find vehicle and is not a barn find.
