Restored to a high standard the Land Rover has been completely stripped to a bare chassis and rebuilt replacing, renewing, and refinishing all the relevant individual parts. The all important bulkhead has been rebuilt and is rust free as is the completely solid chassis. Fitted with a 2.25 (5 bearing crank) petrol engine which is a common conversion from the original known for its sweet running and offering a more powerful reliable engine which is more suited to keep up with modern traffic. Body removed from chassis and stripped to bare metal. Chassis stripped and fully undersealed. Engine and gearbox stripped, checked, resealed, and painted. Axles, Suspension, and Brakes checked and repainted. Bare Metal body restoration finished in Bronze Green with a full'wet flat' finish.

Rebuilt or replaced all individual parts. New Exmoor trim seats and hood and original steering wheel recovered in new leather. Re finished wheels in Bronze Green.

Mechanically the new parts list is vast and certainly no expense has been spared in achieving a great driving experience mainly including.... New Weber carburettor, water pump, exhaust including manifold, clutch, tyres, clutch master and all new brake lines, radiator, brake cylinders, fully serviced engine (plugs, leads, filters, oils etc) and many more. On the inside it has new seats and hood by Exmoor trim, original Lucas wipers that are fully functional, new glass all round with all new seals and channels, new gaiters, new ignition switch with push button start, new leather steering wheel and new internal and external door handles. Combined with the fresh paint the interior certainly makes for a satisfying place to sit. This Land Rover is maybe not suited to the purist many will notice that its not fitted with the originally correct engine, gearbox and pedals. But certainly its quality of finish, attention to detail and depth of restoration makes for a very impressive vehicle.
