Designed for use in a vice on a bench to produce OE spec single DIN & double SAE flares. The Tool can either be mounted in a conventional bench - vice or on its own purpose built plate. (Please note this is not included). Brake tubing is held in split dies which are secured by an overhead locking screw mounted on a swing clamp. The mandrill is then positioned in its retainer and advanced into the flaring tool position by manual operation of the cam lever. Fast Cam Action with spring return. Pipe is clamped via a screw clamp that grips the pipe over a longer distance than lesser quality flaring tools. Also available full range of copper and cupro nickel/kunifer pipe, metric and imperial brake pipe fittings. Hand held works in situ on vehicle.
