For sale is my Land Rover Series 1 88 , manufactured in December 1956. Only 3 previous owners, and showing 62,000 miles on the clock, which I believe to be true, but cannot prove. New rear quarter chassis, new outriggers, bulkhead repairs and new door posts.

The body was removed from the chassis for this work, and was carried out by a local Land Rover specialist. Complete mechanical overhaul including new prop shafts, total brake overhaul, new fuel tank, engine top-end rebuild, new fuel pump and carb. All work performed by Land Rover specialist. Completely re-wired using an Autosparks cloth covered loom, together with all new old stock electrical components, including a new dynamo. The body was taken back to bare metal, and resprayed in the correct Land Rover green.

Complete new interior - Exmoor Trim front and rear seats. Receipts for all work carried out. A fully restored Series 1 in great condition, totally reliable, and ready for another 60 years service.
