For sale, Land Rover® Series 1 80 Refurbished in Deep Bronze Green (1952). John Brown 4x4 is delighted to present this superb 80 Land Rover® for sale. Here for sale we have a rare, fairly priced, 80, presented in truck cab configuration.... Quite a rare sight these days. We are told from the previous keeper that this truck received a comprehensive refurbishment a few years ago.

This work included a strip down to bare chassis, with everything rubbed down, repainted and reassembled - the original cappings survive though, so this is good to see. The restoration list includes - full service (new plugs, points, distributor coil and battery), new carb and tank, all oils changed, rewire (original autosparks), re-cored radiator and new water pump, full brake overhaul, professional respray to existing body, new hood, seats, rechromed lights, new wing mirrors, mats and number plates. The result is plain to see - a nice, tidy and rather cute 80. As can be seen from the photos, this vehicle presents as one might imagine following the recent works received. It has enjoyed the last few years trundling around as part of a collection of vintage Land Rovers® and has "weathered in" nicely. It sits very well, and really does look the part with the truck cab style canvas, which we have elected to leave - it stands it apart from the others, and we think it makes it fun to look at yet functional.
