F you're looking for a perfect nut and bolt restored mint and utterly perfect Ken Wheelwright restoration car then this one isnt for you, however if you're looking for a great little runner then this could be. Series 1's have gone through the roof the last 2 years with the top end vehicles going for 75k. It's hard to find a decent middle of the road cars as everyone is storing or restoring. The gearbox was rebuilt and reconditioned by a local restorer and it needed a new center cross member fitting. She still gets 45 mph!

Brand new springs were fitted , a brand new original land rover fueltank, exhaust and manifold were fitted and an engine overhaul was given. To give it a nice look and feel 5 brand new original look wheels and Avon original tires applied.

New rubber matting in the foot wells and rear cab have been fitted. Brand new Exmoor Trim seats and rear benches (which still have the plastic on)also fitted with a new front bumper. Over its life the car has had some work on the original chasis and some welding to the bulkhead like most series 1's , its incredibly rare to find one that hasnt had repairs to these parts. The work was done by the previous owners l before I acquired it. But the chasis which number i have and engine are original and she comes with original steering wheel and heater which works!

She isnt a 75k fully mint and perfect restored car by any sense of the word but she turns heads wherever she goes, and has been really fun to own and drive for the 2 years I've looked after her. Starts first time and runs really well and comes with original 6 number registration.

Could be a great project to get it factory specced or the basis for a nut and bolt restoration project if you had the time or just enjoy it as I have, bimbling along going for picnics at the seaside. But be prepared for waves and smiles, and lots of people wanting to talk to you about it. Im more than happy to answer any questions you have and please im not after any trades or offers.
