Land Rover Series 1 86 1955

  
I have for sale a 1955 series 1 86 imported by myself from Australia. Its an ideal candidate for a rolling restoration. Its a nice example I would say 97% rust free! Minor rust starting in the top of one of the foot wells! Panel work is reasonable for its age, paintwork has a good patina look about it, will throw in a set of door tops FOC. Engine is its original and we have recently had it running briefly off a separate fuel supply ran on 4 with oil pressure no nasty noises! Havent driven it, but clutch seems to work and all gears select, as do high low leavers. All the hard to find bits that usually have been removed are still there which would make for an easy restoration. Chassis is on the hole very good the bell housing crossmember has sustained damage which is not unusual a new one will be supplied with the car.

No previous repairs have been made which is the ng about these imports. I will supply the car with the nova importation certificate and a dating letter from Jaguar Land Rover reborn, this will make registration an easy process that I can talk you through or do on your behalf for a small additional cost.
