Land rover series 1 Diesel 1958 88

  

Land Rover Series 1 Diesel 1958 88 chassis. In excellent working condition and running order. It had a new MOT in February and the brakes relined and new wheel cylinders. There were only 2353 Series One's made with a Diesel engine.

A new Exmoor trim hood was fitted a couple of months ago. The chassis and bulk head is all in excellent clean order. It has a 2.25L diesel engine and gearbox in it which starts and drives very well, but does smoke a little as they all do when it is cold but soon clears when it warms up. We also have the original series 1 gearbox, but unfortunately not the engine as I understand the 2L diesels were very weak and hardly any survived.
