Unfortunately due to over running building costs on the house i need to sell some toys... Please look at the pictures to see the quality of this land rover, she is in fantastic condition, and has just spent two weeks transporting the family around in France, other than a puncture and a leaking radiator cap (now changed) she behaved perfectly in the 35 degree plus heat. I have always wanted a classic land rover, and looked at many before purchasing this one - it meets my needs perfectly, it looks brilliant and has very little external indication that it has much improved running gear. To allow it keep up with modern traffic (it managed a 8 hour trip at 55- 60mph last week) it has a late Discovery 200 Engine conversion. It also has a Fairy overdrive gearbox fitted and free wheel hubs, brakes etc from a later series land rover, parabolic springs etc. I still have the original 2 litre diesel engine which will be included - i have an engine hoist and can put it in the rear (very few made with the 2.0l diesel engine - so worth keeping if someone wants to put it back to standard). The Land Rover was restored by the previous owner, pictures are shown below about 4-5 years ago. There are chassis off pictures to show the work done to repair the original bulkhead and chassis.

It has many of its original features, many of these early series 2 items (steering wheel, wipers, horn push, tail gate, rear light lenses etc are all original early series 2 items). It has Exmoor Trim Elephant hide seats, 3 in the front and 2 benches in the rear. Its seen a few dusty tracks and been round the field a few times, other than that i dont believe its seen any off road action since restoration. The car is located near robertsbridge.
