It starts and drives but it likes to cut out as and when it feels like it. I have a feeling its just the carb needs looking at but I dont know.
If it doesn't sell then I will be paying someone to fix it then relisting for a higher price. Came out of the factory a 2.25 petrol but had a diesel in it when I bought it. I have been restoring it over the last year and have put many hours into it including painting all the chassis underneath and full repaint inside and out back to its factory bronze green. The paint job isnt 10/10 but its presentable.
Its been welded underneath but some of it isnt too pretty but its solid. Had many new parts including full new exhaust and rear seats. As with most series 2s that Ive had previously, it jumps out of 3rd gear on the over-run but if you hold the lever gently it stays in fine. I think there is an easy fix for this as its a common issue but its never bothered me enough to look into it. I would advise coming to view it however I wont be around in the week days due to work so its restricted to evenings and weekends. I also have a heritage certificate to go with the Land Rover as well as the full v5 however it is still listed as a diesel on there because Ive completely forgot to change it.
