Land Rover Series 2 - not 2a - 1960 - 2.25 petrol A really great example and no rot. Not to be confused with the not so rare series 2a. The 2 was only produced for a couple of years making the 2 much harder to find in this condition. This Landrover looks and runs great.

An ideal investment, off road vehicle or just a general fun runaround. Hard top; parabolic suspension; Fairey overdrive; free wheeling hubs; recently fitted with new 7.50 tyres for on/off road use.

There is a winch mount welded in the rear cross member, but no winch. Classic Landrover Marine Blue resprayed a couple of years back. No rust in evidence anywhere that I can see. Fold up rear seat on one side. The spare wheel is bracket mounted inside.

New MOT in January (probably the last one it will need, due to its age). Not concourse condition by any means - (even when new these Series 2 babies were not "concourse") - and some parts are additions for safety or comfort, from later Series or Defenders. Everything is as you would expect of this type of vehicle, and of this age.

This is an eye catching vehicle for having fun, along with down to earth practical uses, in rain snow or shine. Collect in person only, from Kent, TN27 (between Maidstone/Ashford, Kent). The landrover can be driven away of course (it starts 2nd turn from cold), but unless you are experienced with these vehicles you might consider bringing a trailer to take it home, especially if you are traveling any distance. I reserve the right to end this early as it advertised elsewhere.
