Land rover series 2a 109, hi cap, high capacity, 200tdi, disc brakes

  

Something a bit different and certainly not one for the purists. Land rover 2a 109 high cap rear tub off a later model and proper series cab bulkhead conversion. 200tdi, range rover axles with discs all round, on it's original chassis and leaf spring setup. Chassis and bulkhead have had repairs but are very solid and in quite good shape, as you see in the photos the bulkhead has a rust scab on the left hand side but not too bad. Wolf door tops, good condition seat squabs, smiths heater, rewired.

Nearly new insa turbo tyres all round. X eng disc handbrake fitted. Drives great with lots of power from the 200tdi, stops great with the discs.

Canopy fitted for work purposes. Mot until end of oct. To do a conversion like this from scratch would cost thousands just in parts alone, let alone the hours involved in putting it all together. If you were picky then it would be benefit in a coat of paint and you can see in the photos it has a few dents on it but is still not too bad fro a 47 year old landy , I use it daily and I like the way it looks as it gives it a bit of character.

I drive this from London last year and rely on it as a daily driver and it has never let me down. Great as a workhorse and a good talking point on jobs or just use as a mechanically up to date classic landy. Any questions feel free to ask. Located in Swansea South Wales.
