Fitted with 200tdi engine, Series 3 gearbox and Range Rover diffs. I have owned this vehicle for nearly 5 years and have spent hundreds of hours on a partial strip down and rebuild, making it roadworthy again. It has been rewired with a new loom. Chassis has been welded in places, coated with Davids zinc primer and also painted with Hammerite, then Waxoyled.
Bulkhead has had welding repairs in the past, but is in solid condition. Leaf springs and axles have also been painted with Hammerite. Seatbox has been rebuilt and corrosion free. Nearly every nut and bolt replaced and copper greased, easy to take apart if you wanted to put it on a galvanised chassis! New brake cylinders, slave cylinders and master cylinders. New brake shoes and brake fluid changed. Servo assisted brakes and copper brake pipes all round. New handbrake shoes and oil seal. New cambelt kit and tensioner. Engine has been drained and flushed and new oil and filter and new air filter as well. Body panels are 52 years old so not perfect!!!It has been hand painted with a roller in Bronze Green with Cream roof. Has black roof lining inside to stop condensation. Heater must have been removed in the past, so you may want to fit one.
Logbook shows 2 previous owners and it has been a good reliable daily runaround. Reluctant sale but need to fund my next project!!
